Fishing Report

Just Fishing Guides said the river level is 5.22 feet with a flow of 1,620 cubic feet per second. These levels are a bit high for fly fishing, but try crawdad patterns such as Crazy Dads, Sparkle Grubs and Near Nuff Craw in the Trigger Gap area and above. The lower river will be good with tube baits, hula grubs and brush hogs in shades of brown and green on spinning rods. Minnow crankbaits and Tiny Torpedoes are also working. Fly rods with sink-tip lines and heavy flies are needed to get on the bottom. Minnow patterns are working best.
