Emerald ash borer program (EAB) information source! Missouri’s EAB infestation was discovered July 2008 in the campground at the Wappapello Lake U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Greenville Recreational Area in Wayne County, Mo. Since that time, Missouri has waged a battle against this tiny, invasive insect that includes detection surveys, regulation and education to help protect the state’s ash population.
