Welcome to Rich’s Last Resort, located on the Big Piney River, flowing through towering bluffs and the Mark Twain National Forest, and one of Missouri’s best kept fishing and floating secrets.
Rich’s has been providing float trips, cabins and camping facilities since 1972. Whether you’re looking for a 5-day fishing trip, a half-day kayak, raft, or canoe float or something in between, Rich’s can provide a great river experience. Canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes are available for your floating pleasure, while cabins offering airconditioning, kitchenettes, and bathrooms, and shaded campgrounds provide a base for your float trip or vacation experience.
Rich’s Last Resort is centrally located in Missouri, approximately 2 1/2 hours from St. Louis, 4 1/2 hours from Kansas City, and 2 hours from Springfield and Columbia/Jefferson City.

- We open officially each year in April for wild turkey season, and close at the end of deer season in November.
- No fireworks or firearms
- No ATV’s, motorcycles on campgrounds
- Please set up quietly when checking in late
- Cabin checkout time is 11:00a.m.
- Cabin checkin time is 4:30 p.m.
- No unattended fires
- Pets must be kept under control; please bring a leash
- No glass, please — keep things safe
